The Traveler’s Guide to Summer Vacation In Jamaica

Summer is here and the best place to spend it is in Jamaica! You’ll be surprised how much there is to do on this island of paradise. This little island located south of Cuba and west of Haiti is ideal for a fantastic vacation! If you’re a beach lover, the temperature is great on most days and you can find crystal clear water right across the island. Want to bobsled? there’s Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios. Want to experience natural waterfalls? There’s Dunn’s River just a stone’s throw from Mystic Moutain. Then you have Island Gully Falls or formally known as Blue Hole which is just as fun a the world famous Dunn’s River Falls.

Ziplining is also a popular sport on the island and there are many options. One of the most desired ziplining tours is Chukkah, both adults and children are given special attention.

While you’re out enjoying your jerk chicken and red stripe beer, cliff jumping, rafting down the river, hiking the Blue Mountain, basking in the beautiful sunshine on the white sandy beaches or having fun at you rum tour on the Appleton Estate in St Elizabeth.
